Erika Shalette

Erika Shalette is General Counsel at MSIG USA, where she leads the company’s legal, regulatory and compliance functions. She provides strategic legal counsel to executive leadership, oversees litigation and regulatory matters, and supports business initiatives that advance the company’s long-term growth strategy. She also serves as Corporate Secretary for all MSIG USA companies.

Shalette brings nearly 25 years of legal and insurance industry experience in commercial transactions, corporate finance, employment, litigation, regulatory compliance and mergers and acquisitions, including complex and highly structured domestic and cross-border transactions. Prior to joining MSIG USA, she served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Amynta Group. She also held senior legal leadership roles at Chubb and AIG, where she advised on complex strategic transactions and related global regulatory matters. Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Counsel at Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas) and practiced corporate law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
