David Guild

A strategic senior executive known for building and scaling specialty insurance platforms, David Guild serves as Head of Financial Lines and Cyber at MSIG USA. He directed MSIG USA’s entry into the U.S. open market for financial lines and has since developed a collaborative and experienced underwriting organization spanning both Financial Lines and Cyber. By building high-performing teams, implementing disciplined risk management frameworks, and aligning underwriting and claims expertise, he has helped establish industry-leading capabilities that deliver exceptional service to brokers and clients. He excels in steering underwriting, portfolio, and risk decisions that position companies and their clients for success, always leading with integrity and navigating volatility.

Before joining MSIG USA, Mr. Guild served in various leadership roles with American International Group (AIG), most recently as a Regional Managing Director focused on growth strategies, relationship management, and organizational development. His 22-year career at AIG included leadership positions across underwriting and broker management within the financial lines business. Mr. Guild holds a B.A. in History from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law.
