MSIG, a Warren, New Jersey based commercial lines insurance company with numerous employees resident in the Morris, Somerset and Hunterdon County area,  has announced the donation of 55 boxes of safety masks (2,750 masks in total) to Morristown Medical Center located in Morristown, New Jersey.

“We at MSIG recognize the severe challenges that the coronavirus (COVID-19) poses to our first responders and health care providers who serve our communities so well,” said Kurao Onouchi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  “MSIG wishes, in some small measure, to ease their burden through this donation of safety masks from its own stockpile.”         

“We hope that this small gesture will help Morristown Medical Center and its staff to weather the storm of the pandemic that now engulfs us all,” added Onouchi.

The safety masks were delivered to Morristown Medical Center on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
