With the recent Workers' Compensation reform acts in California, employers and insurance carriers are permitted to direct the care of an injured employee to a Medical Provider Network (MPN).  Beginning January 1, 2005, all California Workers' Compensation policyholders with the member insurance companies of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group will have the benefit of using a Medical Provider Network offered by Corvel. 

This new benefit will offer our policyholders a network of over 26,000 providers statewide, and is fully compliant with all aspects of the new California law.  Corvel's user friendly web-based MPN Directory allows policyholders to build a customized list of providers, based on specific geographic locations and doctor specialties.
